Falconera island

In the lagoon opposite the village of Cavallino lies the ancient Isola di Falconera, already well-known to Venetians in the Middle Ages for its falcon (=Falcone in italian)hunting.

There are five houses on the island: the manor-house to the west, and the other hoses in the east.
