Twenty consecutive years of recognition

On 14 May 2026, Cavallino-Treporti was awarded the Blue Flag for the twentieth consecutive year. Presented by the FEE – Foundation for Environmental Education, the award recognises coastal destinations that meet strict criteria regarding bathing water quality, environmental management, information and environmental education, services and safety. This achievement confirms the continued commitment of the local community and tourism operators to the careful and responsible management of the coastline.

Blue Flag Promotion Week

From 25 July to 9 August, the «Blue Flag Promotion Week» will take place in cooperation with local accommodation providers. The initiative aims to explain the meaning of the award to visitors and residents, while raising awareness of the responsible behaviour that helps protect the beach, the sea and the surrounding natural environment.

25 July: «Safety at the Seaside»

On Saturday, 25 July, on the occasion of World Drowning Prevention Day, the event «Safety at the Seaside» will be held on the beach in front of Camping Mediterraneo, in cooperation with Turismo Srl Wela. The event will focus on safe and responsible behaviour on the beach and in the water, encouraging greater awareness when enjoying the sea.

31 July: Summer Festival

On Friday, 31 July, Piazza Santa Maria Elisabetta will host the «Summer Festival», organised by Amici del Paviner, Pro Loco and ULSS 4. The evening will focus particularly on health and safety and will also provide an opportunity to officially celebrate the awarding of the 2026 Blue Flag to Cavallino-Treporti together with residents and visitors.
