Eco-friendly holiday between beach and sea
Also this year our littoral has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag by the FEE, an international award, established in 1987 - European Year of the Environment - which is assigned every year to seaside resorts that respect criteria relating to sustainable management of the territory. Cavallino-Treporti has also been awarded the Green Flag by Italian paediatricians as best beach for children.
Behind the beach you can find sand dunes, where reeds and canes grow and beyond, there is a large pinewood. Here, under the shade of a thick luxuriant vegetation, you can get some refreshment on warmer days and admire pine of various species, tamarisks and rare examples of willow and wild orchids.
A safe place to relax and have fun
Our beach is 15 kilometres long from the Lighthouse of Cavallino to Punta Sabbioni. Imagine a wide surface area, covered by a fine golden sand that slopes down towards the sea and extends deeply into the dunes and the pinewood.
This is the beach of Cavallino-Treporti: a large space, safe and protected where children can play peacefully and, above all, where everyone can freely devote himself to one’s favourite activities, among relax, sport and fun.
The breadth of the beach and the spaces expressly equipped for the game of bowls, for beach volley and for football allow everyone to have fun, without annoying those who love sunbathing or having some relax with a good book under the beach umbrella. Here, adults, teenagers and kids can fully enjoy the beach in safety and complete freedom, each of them according to their own ideal of holiday.
The Upper Adriatic, a sea for everyone!
Another pride of our territory is definitely the sea: clean, safe and suitable for everyone.
The shores sloping down gradually into the sea and the shallow water along the coast allow everyone to bathe in the waters of our littoral. The kids can play peacefully on the shoreline becoming familiar with water, while adults can choose between relaxing on the air mattress, swimming or engaging themselves in one of the many water sports possible in the area. Sailing boat, surf, kite surf, wind surf…there’s a lot of opportunity, you just have to choose!
Did you know that plunging in our sea or walking along the shoreline of the Upper Adriatic is a real cure for the whole family? The water here is rich in iodine and has excellent therapeutic properties.
This is one more reason to plan you next holiday in this wonderful piece of paradise!
